The binder is the lignin in the wood itself, so there is no glue, starch or fragrance inside. The light colour of the granules shows that clean sawdust was used, not ground-up furniture board.<\/p>\n  <p>It absorbs moisture and breaks down into sawdust once saturated. It produces the least dust of all the types, because the granules do not crumble when poured or dug in. You scoop out only the soiled part and the rest of the bedding stays clean. They bind moisture well and are soft on paws, so they work for cats that dislike hard mineral bedding. Bentonite needs more, 5-7 cm, because only such a layer lets the clumps hold together and be scooped out whole.<\/p>\n  <p>Remove soiled spots as you go and top up with fresh litter. Replace the whole contents depending on how many animals you have and how heavily the box is used.<\/p>\n\n  <h2 id=\"opakowanie\">Which pack size to choose<\/h2>\n  <p>A larger pack usually works out cheaper per kilogram. It goes into mixed waste.
